Re:discover Barrow Lost Shops Catalogue

This catalogue by Art Gene marks the culmination of the 'Re:discover Barrow - Lost Shops' cultural programme (2019 - 2024), co-produced by Barrow's cultural consortium - Art Gene, Full of Noises, Signal Film & Media, Theatre Factory with local residents, and delivered in partnership with Westmorland and Furness Council and Barrow Archives Centre.

The beautifully designed catalogue by work-form, showcases the remarkable artworks that were produced during the programme, inspired by community stories and experiences of Duke Street and Cornwallis Street, gathered over four years. 

Artistic responses to those stories were displayed in an exhibition with select works included in the catalogue. The limited edition catalogue of 372 copies was funded by the UK Government, Historic England, Arts Council England and the National Lottery Heritage Fund, with support from Westmorland and Furness Council.
